Like millions of people around the world, I was deeply inspired by the inauguration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. During his speech, President Biden spoke of our “Better Angels.” As soon as I could pull away from the TV I wrote these words. Due to a coincidence of scheduling I was able to record and produce it that same evening. If this song speaks to you-- please consider sharing it. While it’s hopefully a “good listen” it’s really meant to be sung and shared in our houses of prayer, around campfires, at peaceful protests, or wherever the work is happening.
